Welcome Back!

Key Messages:

• Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct school uniform (details can be found on the main page).  Key things to remember include plain white t-shirts for PE (no football shirts), school shoes and not trainers and skirts which must be knee-length.
• Homework - children to read 3 x per week with parents, answer a question about what they have read and record in homework diary - books and diaries should come into school each day to be checked.  Children should practise TT Rockstars 3 x per week, one spelling homework sheet to be completed each week and returned Wed a.m.  If any aspect of homework is not completed children will be able to join homework club on Thursday lunchtime with Miss Bramley to catch up.
• Healthy snacks only- fruit and vegetables.

Our Learning

In science this half term we are learning about living things and their habitats. In a recent lesson we dissected plants to identify each element of the plants reproductive system and to explore how plants grow. The children enjoyed labelling each element of the plant - some extending their learning by drawing the elements too.
